I am in the
process of changing and re-editing all the DVD's available on the site
as well as adding new titles -- they will all be available again towards
the end of the year.... |
|
The entire series of Blue Water Destinations were shot by a
professional film and television director during a circumnavigation. They
illustrate the experiences of a world cruising yacht crew - the places they
visit - the countries and most importantl give a feel for the life style.
Many
of the places are only visited by cruising yachts - sometimes impossible to get
to in any other way -
The Panama DVD is shot on board a yacht transiting the canal system
and is the only professional film, shot from the point of view of a yacht using
this facility in existence! It really does show exactly what is involved and will greatly
help those planning to use this huge commercial stretch of water, joining the
Caribbean with the Pacific Ocean.
It
is almost impossible to visit many of the Pacific Islands except by yacht so
much of these DVD's contain images and information impossible to source else
where. Even the Australian episode has material many Australian sailors have
never seen including a live helicopter rescue in a big blow with yachts on the
reef and the crews in serious trouble.
The
Asia DVD has visits to islands that seldom see strangers and dug out canoes are
the local method of transport. The entire series was shot by a sailor for
sailors or those planning to experience the great adventure.
